Samsung starts rolling out Galaxy A54 One UI 8.5 update

Samsung starts rolling out Galaxy A54 One UI 8.5 update

Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 8.5 update to the Galaxy A54. The update made its debut in Korea, where the A54 is sold as the Galaxy Quantum 4.

The update carries the build number A546SKSUGFZE2 for Korean users and can be downloaded over the air via the phone's Settings > Software update menu. It may take up to a week before Samsung makes the update available in other markets and gets the global rollout started.

One UI 8.5 brings a refreshed look for the user interface, with transparent blur effects that add depth and floating elements that surface what you need. Bixby handles more natural phrasing now, and you can pull up past conversations from the side panel.

Other additions include three new portrait filters, automatic Lock screen layouts that fit your photos around the clock and widgets, and a weather widget that shows a precipitation graph when rain is coming.

Furthermore, the update adds direct voicemail, a time zone slider in the Clock app, and Storage Share for accessing files across your Samsung devices. You also get a redesigned battery settings screen, theft protection, a more customizable quick panel, tables in Samsung Notes, and partial screen recording.

Thanks for the tip, 정성현!
